In short, the Samples are reminiscent of every single band that probably got banned from Seattle in the early 1990’s. None, the recording quality of the songs are pretty poor. I have to say their setup was interesting, it was basically R & B with a jam band type of sound with it. But interesting doesn’t necessarily mean good. I am not a big fan of “awwwwww yeah” type R & B, well except for R. Kelly but “Trapped in the Closet” is awesome for it’s own reasons.

Once and awhile you will come across something that you instantly dig, this was one of those times. I really liked Daphne Willis within two minutes of “Live For Now”, her voice stood out to me and I enjoyed her lyrics. Musically it might be considered a pretty standard acoustic style, but I think it worked.
