A late update for the jam band lovers out there! At the recently concluded 15TH Aannual Asbury Music Awards 2007 which was held last Saturday November 17, 2007 at The Stone Pony, Turtle Soup won the Top Jam Band Award and Top Groove Band Award. This event was sponsored by Coors Light/Commerce Bank.

Widespread Panic, a jam rock band from Athens, Georgia, proudly announced their upcoming new CD release in the market earlier 2008. The album is titled “Free Somehow”.  It their website, it is mentioned that the date of release would be February 12, 2008. That is just a month away. So keep posted for more updates.

Jam band du jour Umphrey’s McGee come to Borders for a delicious acoustic performance to celebrate their latest live release. Crossing the country gaining miles of coverage and fans for their music, Umphrey’s McGee visit Borders in Ann Arbor to give folks a taste of what they will see in their live sets.
