A late update for the jam band lovers out there! At the recently concluded 15TH Aannual Asbury Music Awards 2007 which was held last Saturday November 17, 2007 at The Stone Pony, Turtle Soup won the Top Jam Band Award and Top Groove Band Award. This event was sponsored by Coors Light/Commerce Bank.

Widespread Panic, a jam rock band from Athens, Georgia, proudly announced their upcoming new CD release in the market earlier 2008. When I landed on this page I kind of had a bad feeling, I saw the Bluegrass category and that they were from Nashville. Automatically in my head I hear very twangy music, which is something I am not a big fan of.
