The Countdown to Burning Man is On
Glide Magazine did a feature about Burning Man which sets off at the end of August.
I never realized that Burning Man was not considered a music festival, that they had no central booking committee. Any band that plays basically sets up their own stuff and creates their own camp or stage, it isn’t anything that was booked by the actual people that run Burning Man.
Personally I don’t know how interested I would be in attending Burning Man, I would lean much more heavily towards Bonnaroo or other festivals. While Burning Man comes off as an interesting social experiment I don’t know if it would fulfill my expectations music wise.
