My Love For Archive.org
I am sure at this point I am not telling anyone new this but just in case you don’t know about archive.org, I want to make sure it is a page you visit often.
Archive.org is an internet archive site, I know not at all that exciting right? Hold on a second though, it contains thousands of shows from bands that allow taping rights, with acts ranging from the Grateful Dead to O.A.R. to Mike Doughty to My Morning Jacket to Umphrey’s McGee and so on. To see an entire list of the artists that you can find on the site, click here. Did I mention that these shows were FREE to download? Yeah there is very little downside, if any, to this… Good music, quality taped shows, and free… I can’t really find anything to complain about with that.
The shows are available in a wide variety of formats from lossless audio to mp3 to streaming versions. There is a wide array to choose from, so if you have always wanted to check out a certain band that you heard of but never got a chance to see or if you wanted to relive some concerts you went to, this site can help you out.
As I go through different bands, I will start featuring certain concerts on here as well as single tracks that are available for download through archive.org. If you want to recommend some shows to me I would also appreciate it!
Have you used archive.org before?

Never heard of it.
That sounds really cool. I like so many different bands it would be impossible for me to buy every single concert on video. And they never come here to play in Montana.
okay so it’s not video…but audio, which is also cool. I’d like to see your reviews since I haven’t heard of most of these bands, so I’ll be back.
I hope you come back a lot Alicia… I will have a review a week!
